POSITION
Summary:
The Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and rollout of Guest Centric Android Mobile Apps in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment.
This position works closely with the cross-functional teams to understand and implement their strategic initiatives on time and on budget.
The Developer proactively suggests innovative solutions to provide marketing differentiation and better user experience.
Candidate should take ownership of challenge and be able to suggest innovative solutions and ideas to leverage Android technology to provide market differentiation and enhanced user experiences.
CORE JOB
Responsibilities:
Programming/Software Development :
Carries out the design, testing, and documentation moderately complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools.
Collaborates in reviews of specifications, with others as appropriate.
Systems Integration :
Assists in the software builds from software source code.
Performs tests as defined in an integration test specification, records the details of any failures, and carries out fault diagnosis relating to simple failures, reporting the results of the diagnosis in a clear and concise manner.
Development Testing :
Performs the execution of given test scripts under supervision.
Records results and reports issues.
Develops an understanding of the role of testing within system development, as a tool for design improvement as well as a validation process.
Problem Management :
Investigates problems in systems, processes and services.
Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
Release Deployment :
Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities.
Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken.
May carry out early support activities such as providing support advice to initial users.
Requirements Definition Management :
Uses established techniques as directed to identify current problems and elicit, specify and document business functional, data and non-functional requirements for various subject areas with clearly-defined boundaries.
Assists with implementing the processes for establishing agreed baselines for change and managing the assessment and application of requested changes to those requirements.
Assists in defining acceptance tests for the specified requirements.

Responsible for the development lifecycle of the Android application Evaluate and select from existing and emerging technologies for the options best fitting business needs.
Able to multi-task and adapt quickly to agile, aggressive schedules Work closely with key business partners during entire lifecycle of the project Provide technical support & troubleshooting for production issues Requirements REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or applicable work experience 1
years of development experience with Android and related technologies Experience creating and publishing apps at scale, retailer app experience is a plus Experience in Google Push Notification Services, Foundation Framework, Memory Management, and detailed knowledge of Android API capabilities.
Experience with Android tool ecosystem (e.
