Custom Personalization Solutions (CPS) is a family of fast growing, web-based businesses that manufacture and sell personalized gifts, clothing, jewelry and other unique children's and family oriented products. We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician II to join CPS' IT Team. This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes setup, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position utilizes one-on-one consultancy and phone support to end users and staff. The employee in this position may also assist with the maintenance and testing of the network, servers and associated equipment. The position's responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Position requires excellent customer service skills, prior phone experience, initiative, good judgment and an excellent work ethic. You'll enjoy a fun, casual work environment and will play a key role in making our company successful!
Responsibilities:
Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
Works with internal technical teams and vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
