Flexographic Printing Operator - 3rdshift.
Selected candidate must be experienced as a second press operator or press operator with flexographic printing machines. Ideally has experienced operating Aqua Flex presses. Experience printing with packaging materials on film and paper required. Must be able to perform the following functions:
Troubleshoot press problems
Maintain the equipment to assure that machinery, equipment and presses are properly maintained and running at a suitable efficiency rate
Set pressures on Anilox and plate cylinders
Set registration on all colors
Replace doctor blades and end seals
Monitor ink levels on press and maintain ink viscosity and PH levels.
Splice new rolls on unwind and remove rolls from rewind.
Remove Anilox rollers and plate cylinders
Install chambers on the print units, connect supply and drain lines and set up operation
Ensure product produced meets all quality standards and specifications
Constant attention to conduct work and operate machinery in a safe manner
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as second press operator or press operator
Knowledgeable of proper ink additives and amounts to use
Must be able to work all shifts must be able to work more than 8 hours a day
Good mechanical aptitude skills
Attention to detail
Excellent vision
High School diploma or a combination of education and experience
Meet the physical demands for this position which requires lifting or moving up to 100 pounds, bending, stooping, stepping up and down from machinery, consistently standing and walking.
Good math and problem solving skills
Good computer aptitude
Able to read and understand material requirements and specifications
Familiarity with job dockets, control sheets, register controls desirable
Pre-employment drug test and physical required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
