POSITION SUMMARYThe Systems Engineer is responsible for the configuration, operation, and documentation of the Windows and Cloud servers, networks, system administration, and desktop engineering at all company locations.
This includes servers used for internal production, SaaS production, test and development servers for all systems, Office 365 administration and engineering, Intune, Azure engineering and administration, and other system and software rollouts.
EUR The role will be involved in solution selection and architecture of systems areas with the Manager of Infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESManage and maintain the organization's servers, networks, and systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware and software, systems, and components.
Monitor system performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
Collaborate with manager to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Respond to security incidents and assist in the resolution of security-related issues.
Configure and implement automation monitoring and managementEnsure seamless integration of systems and applications.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues for quick resolution.
Create and maintain documentation for new and existing processes and procedures.
Conduct research to identify new technologies that could improve existing operational and business needsProvide technical guidance and expertise to other team members and teams to ensure that requested technologies align with the long-term IT vision and are feasible to supportMaintain good working relationships with our third-party vendors, while also holding them accountable for quality service and results.
Build and maintain good working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Assist Helpdesk with desktop escalations as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESBachelor's or graduate degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.

years of enterprise Systems engineering or Systems administration experience including Windows servers in production environmentsEUR 3
years of Network experience in Lan/Wan technologies, switches, and routers.
EUR SDWan/SASE is a plus 3
years of scripting experience with PowerShell 2
years Public Cloud experience with Azure 2
Office 365 administration 5
years of experience with Active Directory, LDAP or other identity and security management systems.

years of IIS Web Server configuration and management 1
years Backup and Recovery 5
years with the configuration and administration of supporting Windows system components (Domain Controllers, DFS, DHCP, DNS, WINS) 5
years with Senior level knowledge of Windows Active Directory domain, domain integration and interaction with the network, Group Policies, Active Directory Trusts, Anti-Virus applications, etc.
Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with peers and upper managementProven track record of achieving results working through outsourced vendor partnersWorking knowledge of Windows Automation tools, practices and techniques Proven troubleshooting skills with ability to independently research and resolve problemsDemonstrated track record of implementing automation and alertingAbility to perform pro-actively and effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to be on-call for assigned rotation.
MCSE or related certifications are a plusExperience working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team Experience in troubleshooting and remediation within multiple Information technology disciplines Experience installing and upgrading applications or databases and performing system maintenance Familiarity with system and environment analysis, design, and optimization Experience monitoring the operational status and performance of, and configuring as well as tuning, systems, networks, or databases Experience with operating system commands and utilities as well as scripting Experience with production system designs including High Availability, and Performance monitoring.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
