Clinical Case Manager - Physical Therapy - Outpatient Ortho - Work Comp

Overview The Clinical Case Manager supports ATI's mission by supporting compliant and efficient care management of ATI's services to meet the needs of internal program goals and external stakeholder commitments.
This position ensures prescribed care with active patient cases within ATI's core and ancillary service lines, communicates regularly with clinical staff, ATI's leadership team and external customers including but not limited to physicians, payors, vendors, attorneys, case managers/adjustors.
The goal is to support ATI's clinical staff in operating with a high degree of integrity and compliance to provide efficient and cost-effective care delivery and meet our commitments to programs and contracts, without compromising ATI's industry-leading patient outcomes.
What you bring to be successful:
Degree in an Allied Health profession.
3 years of experience in Allied Health Profession or related field required.
Internal/external audit experience.
Experience in the Physical Therapy field in outpatient orthopedics.
Responsibilities Performs organizational-wide, division and clinic audits to investigate and monitor documentation, care progression, and utilization of physical therapy services to ensure they comply with payor specific standards.
Performs therapy audits related to specific payor contracts to investigate and monitor documentation, care progression, and utilization of physical /occupational therapy services to ensure they comply with payor specific standards.
Ensures approved plan of care and progression with continued therapy services aligns to payor or program specific requirements across a variety of different programs (e.
g.
Bundled Payment for Care Improvement (BPCI), capitation or benefit design) Monitors and tracks patient outcomes, including compiling detailed reports.
Effectively communicates with referral sources and external clients including, but not limited to patients, physicians, employers, payers, external therapy companies, and attorneys.
Implements training and education materials to ensure clinicians have knowledge of specific payer or program standards.
Tracks visit trends and prepares reporting packages that reflect program effectiveness for internal and external stakeholders Qualifications Required Education Degree in an Allied Health profession Required

3 years of experience in Allied Health Profession or related field Preferred
