Summary Under direction of FP supervisor and Department lead, and with the assistance of other team members, the Head Cook assists with the successful operation of the cook room.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Complete paperwork for shift and check HACCP paperwork
Ensure Horse Operators are completing Pre-Ops
Check all thermometers daily and replace if needed
Make sure controllers a functioning properly
Know how to check all velocity, core probes and dry/wet bulbs
Know all sanitation rules and ensure that sanitation is performed. Should be able to identify opportunities for cleaning.
Must be present on the floor at all times ensuring the crew if efficiently completing schedules.
Handle any USDA/QA concerns with a corrective action that is in the best interest of Food Safety.
Maintain good relationship with fellow team members, departments and USDA

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10''s and 100''s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Should be able to identify potential problems and take corrective action.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must become horse certified.
Must pass oven test
Other Skills and Abilities
Must be able to work flexible hours according to production demands including necessary overtime.
Must be able to speak, read and write English
Must be able to use a computer
Must have a positive attitude and be able to work as a team
Should be able to perform duties of job under minimal supervision

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
